My Boyfriend Wants Me To Buy The Engagement Ring, What Should I Do?

I'm so confused? Do guys ask their girlfriends to buy an engagement ring so he can use to propose?

My boyfriend who I have been dating for awhile told me he would have proposed to me but he doesn't have enough money to buy the kind of engagement he wants his woman to wear.



He says if it is so important to me I could buy it and then he would pay me back later.

Should I or shouldn't I? Pls what should I do?
