A nine-year-old girl is in a critical condition in Cape Town’s Red Cross Children’s Hospital, after being raped and set alight at the weekend. She sustained extensive burns across her whole body – but she was still conscious and able to identify a 27-year-old suspect when she was found. SEE VIDEO
